Sows

Fewer surprises, more pigs weaned.

Your sow farm, run on today’s numbers.

Cloudfarms shows your team the day’s result as it happens, which sows need them today and what the coming weeks will bring, on one farm or across all of them.

For me sitting in the office, it really helped me understand our production by getting the data instantly. We really enjoy that they enter things in the barn, and we can see that on the TV in the office. We can see how the night shift did.

Entered at the sow, checked on the spot

Servings, farrowings, weanings and deaths are registered at the pen in seconds. An impossible entry is stopped, a doubtful one questioned. Every dead piglet goes in with its cause, and a farrowing from the night shift keeps its real date.

Today’s result, against your target

What the team registers in the barn reaches the office screen throughout the day, each figure set against the farm’s own goal. In the weekly report, this week sits beside your last 4, 8, 16 and 26 weeks.

Nothing missed in the barn

Sows due for a scan, a vaccination or the next treatment are on the day’s list. A farrowing sow not checked in time raises an alert. A serving group is vaccinated in one entry, and a sow in medicine withdrawal is flagged at selling.

A slip spotted while it’s small

When the farrowing rate or returns drift from recent weeks, the weekly report shows it. Failed pregnancies are split by type and parity, from early returns to scanned empty. An overview counts problem sows across the herd, so costly ones are found quickly.

Know where to look first

Piglet losses are shown by cause. Back fat and body condition at serving are set against total born and returns, farrowing rate against inseminator and semen batch. Each week, an analysis lists what slipped and what to do about it.

Farrowing rooms ready before the litters

For each serving group you see how many sows are expected to farrow, and when, so the right number of crates is ready. Vaccinations due in the coming weeks are already counted, and routine tasks sit in a weekly calendar.
